We were delighted to welcome John Challis and his lovely wife, Carol, on Thursday 24th November. John signed copies of his autobiography, 'Being Boycie' and spent two hours chatting to customers and posing for photographs. By the time he finished we had sold almost 60 copies of the book: those coming to meet him covered all age ranges - a very popular man. He answered questions about 'Only Fools and Horses' and 'Green Green Grass' as well as telling us what he's up to at the moment - he will shortly be rehearsing for pantomime, Aladdin, in Weston- Super-Mare.

John has been attending book signings all over the country so we were grateful that he made time to visit us in Church Stretton. We now look forward to the publication of Part 2 of the autobiography when we hope to welcome him back again.
