With Halloween just three days away we were entertained to an evening of ghostly tales with some of the team from Midland Paranormal Investigations. In a very interesting audio-visual show they told the history and background or paranormal investigating before going on to discuss some of their own investigations. With perfect timing, just at a crucial moment the video screen decided to go blank! Perhaps we have some spirits of our own in the book shop.

It was fascinating to hear recordings of strange noises, and see photographs showing shadowy figures, as well as watching footage of moving objects - all from visits that the team had made to peoples' homes or business premises.

The audience were invited to tell of their own ghostly experiences, and some very strange tales emerged.
