Our Recommendations & Stretton Focus Curious to know what are the Burway Booksellers are reading at the moment?
Emski Alston
I've just started Sacred Hearts the latest novel by Sarah Dunant.set in 1570, in Italy and although the book is a work of fiction, Dunant states that the practice of selling daughters to convents was not uncommon at that time. fascinating and brilliantly written.
I've just finished reading Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith which I read in almost one sitting- ....a real page turner -I will be recommending this to customers!"

Ros Ephraim
is reading The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows- a cheery read for a cold March morning!
In preparation for our forthcoming author events I've just finished 2 great reads Aerodynamics of Pork by Patrick Gale & Into Suez by Stevie Davies. I'm really looking forward to meeting them both in May
 Hilary Jones
Emski suspects that Hils is so busy proof reading her own book which is due out soon that she probably hasn't got time to read any fiction at the moment.
Well done Hils we are so very proud & excited for you xx
Each month Hilary Jones recommends a book in our lovely local magazine
