20 independent bookshops nationwide were selected to host the quiz Burway Books were lucky enough to be one of them. Nine teams of all ages competed for an amazing first prize: lots of Harry Potter books and goodies provided by Bloomsbury, the publishers of the Harry Potter books, plus a trip to the national finals in London to be held in October.
Quizmaster Ros (aka Professor McGonagall!) hosted the evening, as the teams answered seven rounds of questions, of varying difficulty. All teams scored well, but there could only be one winner ….. the team going forward to London is “The Team Who Must Not be Named”.
Burway Books provided second and third prizes, and all teams took away mementoes of the evening. Thank you to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable evening.
