This week a delivery of Alice in Wonderland from the wonderful Hay Festival recycling team and a trip to Bleddfa
When the rains came on Thursday afternoon – shortly followed by thunderbolts & lightning-, a large van parked outside with a load of recyclable materials for Scrappies from Hay. Noticing our bookshop, The Ladies of Hay asked me if we’d like a box of hardback copies of Alice in Wonderland and a few copies of The Jungle Book. To obtain a free copy of Alice buy a book here and you will be entitled to one copy, whilst stocks last. The copies of The Jungle Book have gone to a local school as a class reader.
Gwen and I had a venture into Powys on Friday evening to the Bleddfa Centre. A talk was held there on Rewilding – it was a fascinating evening, and the scenery was magical.
