Phil Rickman, ‘The Magus of Hay’, 8th November 2013

We enjoyed another popular book signing event with bestselling author Phil Rickman, who visited us to sign copies of his latest Merrily Watkins novel, The Magus of Hay. Many of his fans popped in for a chat and to buy a book and Phil spent an enjoyable few hours answering questions and talking about researching and writing his latest novel – as well as some of his earlier works.

While he was here Phil also presented the ‘Bag of Books’ prize to Clare Travers, who had won the literary quiz that we held as part of our Books Are My Bag celebrations. Clare was delighted to receive her prize from one of her favourite authors.
